Geomancy green tourism model for sustainable and responsible tourism development for protecting and promoting natural and cultural resources in the MED area.

The specific objective of programme: to enhance the development of policies and increase the coordination of strategies between territories at interregional and transnational level regarding the development of a sustainable and responsible coastal and maritime tourism, in line with the integrated coastal zone management and maritime spatial planning principles, through cooperation and joint planning.

Our mission is innovative development of the green model for sustainable development in general, and tourism development in particular.

We designed an integrated and sustainable approach during two decades of numerous completed projects in the field of geomancy research, nature space creation and planning, energy consulting, education, and holistic medicine of the environment.

Through a renown innovation of geomancy business consulting we developed a methodology synthesis of man and nature space in a holistic manner. The holistic combination of ecology and human capacities has derived from a contemporary paradigm of nature-friendly development with regards to the ecology vision of planetary changes.

For the MED project we are introducing (GGT) geomancy green tourism model based on holistic ecology PLATFORM. It's a nature space study with a holistic approach to dealing with the environment. The model is inclusive of interdisciplinary specialists from various fields of expertise. GGT model is a foundation for authentic sustainable planning processes.

Our method is aimed to revitalize every geomancy area of import in the Mediterranean Basin's ecosystem.

To ensure green tourism programs' development we provide education and training to our partners.

Full participation of every Project partner and nature-friendly approach are prerequisite.

GEOMANCY is a multidimensional research and implementation approach. To revitalize an area's ecosphere Approach deals with spiritual and energy dimensions of the area's inherent characteristics. In order to deal with growth/development issues holistically and to combine local and strategic levels effectively Approach initiates new knowhow and nature-derived actions. The approach surpasses established norms through the implementation of intuition.

Geomancy Approach introduces new ecology standards concerning condition of the environmental and its holistic growth/development. Hence, a healthy spatial development is supportive of sustainable general welfare, equitable distribution of benefits and high quality of life on the one hand, and protecting/reinforcing natural sources on the other hand.

Our geomancy study amply detects geological, energy, spiritual, and archetype potentials of the area. The study provides synthesis of every level of existence in their visible and invisible dimensions. Along with terrain configuration analyses and survey of existing urban and nature structures the area's multidimensional structure is taken into account, as well. Thus, the ground is provided to rate the area's ecological status, evaluate its development potential, and establish starting-points for sustainable growth/development planning processes.

Our Role in the MED Modules

The first module (M2) is set to provide every partner – regions or tourist destinations – with our geomancy study. The networking effort of various experts has procured us with a sustainable growth/development platform and growth/development directives, i.e. grounds for nature space planning and tourism programs' elaboration.

Raising public awareness and participation of the policy makers at national and local levels are envisioned to run parallel to Program / Module(?) implementation.

The second module (M3) is set to test the growth/development directives in situ, i.e. through pilot field tests how local particularities of nature and cultural lore fit the criteria of touristic products/programs.

Here, inclusion of the local population into creative processes is crucial; they should participate in co-creation of new tourism programs and establish their testing GGT models at various localities in the Mediterranean Basin.

Based on the test model comparison and experience we will in hands with tourism experts create a GGT-model applicable to the entirety of the Mediterranea.

Geomancy = Eco-innovation, will therefore aim to produce quality products with less environmental impact, whilst innovation can also include moving towards more environmentally friendly production processes and services. Ultimately they will contribute towards the reduction of greenhouse gases or the more efficient use of various resources.

Our Geomanncy Project sets exemplary model for geomancy sustainable tourism growth, with nature space untapped potential inclusive, as well as vitalenergy powers of tourist programs' personnel.

This multi-level approach is a key element HOlISTIC metod, one on which the whole project is based. It also plays an important role in the long term continuity of the vitalenergy network that form part of the platform.

The transnational setup allows them to tackle challenges beyond national borders, such as the rise of energy efficiency, protection of natural and cultural resources and strengthening innovation.

During the 2014-2020 programming, specific focus will be put on a macro-regional dimension. From a territorial and geographical point of view, the programme grants a specific attention to four types of areas that represent important challenges due to their resources, their development potential or the economic difficulties they are confronted to.

Europe 2020 strategy

Europe 2020 is the EU’s ten-year strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. In order to deliver on this objective, five ambitious targets have been set, covering employment, research and development, climate change and energy sustainability, education, and the fight against poverty and social exclusion. Cohesion policy is committed to supporting the Europe 2020 Strategy financially. This is why, in the 2014-20 programming period, funding is targeted on 11 thematic objectives that address the Europe 2020 goals. A specific percentage of investments has to focus on these thematic objectives. Thanks to the thematic targeting, cohesion policy funding is spent in a way that helps Europe become more innovative, efficient, sustainable, and competitive.

Sustainable tourism

Tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment and host communities. Sustainable tourism development guidelines and management practices are applicable to all forms of tourism in all types of destinations, including mass tourism and the various niche tourism segments. Sustainability principles refer to the environmental, economic, and socio-cultural aspects of tourism development, and a suitable balance must be established between these three dimensions to guarantee its long-term sustainability.

Definition of Sustainable Tourism Development

“Sustainable tourism development guidelines and management practices are applicable to all forms of tourism in all types of destinations, including mass tourism and the various niche tourism segments. Sustainability principles refer to the environmental, economic and socio-cultural aspects of tourism development, and a suitable balance must be established between these three dimensions to guarantee its long-term sustainability. Thus, sustainable tourism should: 1) Make optimal use of environmental resources that constitute a key element in tourism development, maintaining essential ecological processes and helping to conserve natural heritage and biodiversity.2) Respect the socio-cultural authenticity of host communities, conserve their built and living cultural heritage and traditional values, and contribute to inter-cultural understanding and tolerance. 3) Ensure viable, long-term economic operations, providing socio-economic benefits to all stakeholders that are fairly distributed, including stable employment and income-earning opportunities and social services to host communities, and contributing to poverty alleviation. Sustainable tourism development requires the informed participation of all relevant stakeholders, as well as strong political leadership to ensure wide participation and consensus-building. Achieving sustainable tourism is a continuous process and it requires the constant monitoring of impacts, introducing the necessary preventive and/or corrective measures whenever necessary. Sustainable tourism should also maintain a high level of tourist satisfaction and ensure a meaningful experience to the tourists, raising their awareness about sustainability issues and promoting sustainable tourism practices amongst them.”

In the MED project we use llithopuncture - is the holistic acupuncture of space: for regeneration of the environment ecosystem; Energy efficiency improvement of vital geomancy nature resources; and demarcation of natural and cultural heritage areas. Lithopuncture is modernised tradition of menhirs. It brings back to life the procedures of nature space identity demarcation and its cultivation, which old cultures in the Mediterranean basin used to apply. The lithopuncture provides the healing of a damaged ecosystem and the positive changes of this intervention can bescientificallyverified. And a variety of instruments is used to this end. The result is one of sustainability.

Lithopuncture  will be on micro-areas at 3 tourist destinations of the project partnerstreated with geomantic analysis, that are important for the sustainability of the biosphere of the Mediterranean.
